Does anyone want to talk about the EMYTH?

Totally, I think that, for me, "marketing mindset" wise, the original Emyth is my religion.

Honestly I haven't thought of it, but it MAY EVEN BE APPLICABLE TO OTHER AREAS OF LIFE.... seriously

It's one of the reasons I believe so much in telemarketing, and also other types of marketing that are used in an Emyth kind of way.

Recently, someone who knows me well (and who knows that I no longer had a copy), gave me a copy of the Emyth for Christmas... I felt SOOO blessed!

After re- familiarizing myself with it's principles, it reminded me of everything I have done right, and also of everything I have done wrong .. like "Wow! Could'a had a V8! I KNEW that...! "

Kick yourself in the ass sort of thing..., and yet pat yourself on the back for having "knew that".

In any event...

Would love to see a discussion about this wonderful thing, and hear how it has affected others.

Hope everyone is well.

I was about to suggest penicillin, but since we cannot discuss religion here, maybe you could elaborate a little more, while removing any religious connotations.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. If you're looking for a serious discussion on this, try the Mind Warriors subforum. They believe almost everything down there. This is where you come to get ridiculed and folks will soon be lining up to oblige you. :-)

I read Gerber's "E-Myth" nearly 20 years ago, and it is perhaps among the top influential books that contributed to my astounding success in business.

The time-proven principles taught in this classic seems to be seriously missing in virtually all discussion, practice, and even mindset on the WF for at least the past decade.

Okay... thats the kind of response I would expect from someone who read it. It is absolutely THE authority on creating a business model, online or off, to anyone who is familiar with it.

It's about growing your business systematically, using best practices which can be measured for predictable results. But, that's not important here on the Warrior Forum right now.

Yeah, l know l read the E Myth, which mainly centres around a lady who wants to set up a bakery, and she goes through all of her fears, etc to do so.

Lol, yep, , but if l remember correctly, (read it, phew 10 years ago) it shows how someone can allow all the pressures of running a bakery, (or most bricks and mortar businesses) get on top of them, and how to rise above it, to create a successful business.

Familiar with it or not, it's absolutely ONE man's opinion.

The number of personal opinions that are proffered as indisputable fact on this forum does nothing to lend to it's credibility.

Whatever happened to the long-honored tradition of prefacing our personal beliefs with the simple term, IMHO?'
