Any Help Greatly Appreciated and I throw my myself at your mercy,

I have continuous problems with connecting to re-start lessons. How can it be a continuous problem? It's enthusiasm crushing stuff.

So far my experience with Udemy support has been surprisingly useless. Great lessons, but totally incapable of providing simple, specific directions in easy to follow beginner steps to diagnose or fix this problem.

Status:
Notepad is open with html file to page for lesson
Html files are set to open by default in Notepad
Browser webpage open to same webpage I have been working on for weeks

FTP is unlocked at Control Panel - No error messages

FTP says it is connected - HOWEVER I notice HOST in FTP is (79.170.44.12), which is same as Control Panel, BUT different to all pages I have been previously working on (79.170.40.46)

Is this a problem?

I tried replacing 79.170.40.46 with 79.170.44.12 and got no connection at all - which is correct?

Is there a checklist of steps I can take to connect without this drama?

Is there anyway to contact a human at Udemy to get ral time help to sort this out?

Mega thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure this is not a Udemy problem. Contact the support people at the hosting company where you are hosting your website; they will tell you the correct FTP settings, or just check their FAQ.

Thanks very much David for your time and mercy.
Hopefully it will be easy as I'm using Udemy's ecowebhosting.co.uk for hosting.
Look out, good karma coming your way!
      Cheers,
      Scott
