      Kurt,

I'm partial to The Trembler. I wish it was longer. By the way you never said whether or not I got that music trivia question right. I said Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker?

Actually Dave, I answered that question BEFORE you posted your answer. To win at trivia, usually you have to answer before the questions are given. LOL

Wow! - Duane Eddy is one of the original originals (not quite aboriginal) rock n' roll guitar virtuosos!

What finds! Thanks for the memories!

I will be spending today listening to all these and bookmarking them.

    write on, rock on!

p.s. Trivia heads: who came first, Link Ray or Duane Eddy? They are somewhat similar.

Both heavily influenced Surfer Rock (like the Beach Boys, The Ventures, etc)

I was first exposed to Duane Eddy in the 80s, thanks to the stylings of a group called Art Of Noise, who did a Peter Gunn cover. They were most well known by their commercial hit "Paranoimia" which was also the theme song for the short-lived Maxx Headroom phenomenon.

I love the Art of Noise - I have one of their albums on 'casette' (remember those) from the 1980's.

Yeah, nobody has quite done their thing since then. Early techno meets jazz fusion.

Maybe the group Massive Attack comes is close.

But I'd never heard of Duane before then.

To change the subject a bit, there was a video by a group that I always think was The Art Of Noise but wasn't, that had a blonde midget and a bald strongman in it and they used sledgehammers to bash a car up in an acopalypes style setting. Can anyone tell me who it really is?

Natural born killer is a hell of a movie, I rewatched it recently. They do not make much of these nowadays, but that was something.
