          I'm not a programmer. I'm a marketer.
I just asked to give you an advice.
Try to get a job as a programmer trainee. So you will gain experience and learn something new from experienced programmers.

Take a course or do a small project where you can get some success. Go up from there. There are a lot of online references and courses now. YouTube is probably filled with good stuff, too.

Hi, I would suggest that you first decide what field of computer programming interests you the most e.g. web development, mobile app development, etc. and take from there. Eventually, all these fields will come down to basics but at least you know which of those topics you should focus on.

Of course, you should first decide what field of programming you want to do. There are a lot of different areas and each of them has its own basics:
    - web development: and here you have front-end and back-end. HTML, CSS and JavaScript are the main programming languages for front-end. If we are talking about back-end, it's probably PHP, but actually, it depends on what kind of a back-end you need. So there are PHP, Python, Node.JS and Ruby.
    - mobile development: and here as well you have the front-end and the back-end. When the back-end is the same as for web development, front-end is divided to Android, iOS and Cross Platform development. iOS apps require Objective-C or Swift for the front end. If you are interested in Android app development, the front-end is written mostly in Java. Python and Ruby are better for the back-end of Cross Platform apps because they are faster. And the front end of Cross Platform apps is mostly written with React Native and JavaScript Framework.
There are more fields of programming, but these two are the most common ones.
In my humble opinion, CodeAcademy is the best platform to learn coding. But this opinion differs from person to person.
