Personally l would say after spending a few years creating a site, with SEO, reading a mountain of books, etc, that it is too open end to make serious money from.

Or to put it another way you take on someone and after the first month they figure it out for themselves and dump you.

Must be a million SEO tutorials on YT?

I knew a guy that creates websites for people, and he ended up working part time, as the income was too erratic to live off.

As for people who manage websites for people and help with the setup, l have heard some are well off with that idea, so it might be one option?

5 years, phew, but l was in all of that IM garbage for 6 years til l figured something else out.

I would say that you need to sit down and do some hard thinking about all of this, and areas where you might have an advantage and get out of stuff that you don't.

I was at rock bottom a month or so ago, and came up with a million dollar idea, but l was doing something else that was crap at the time.

Once l realized that it was a dead end, then real progress could be made.

Be brutally honest with yourself, and a way should appear, and don't assume that you need to change tracks, at least not until you have thoroughly thought it through.

There might be a lump of gold just beneath the surface.

    Good luck.

I believe it is your marketing rather than selling. of course, you must close a deal but that can be as simple as asking the client.
Do you have a USP that can be focussed on? Which companies do you best focus on, you need to focus on one type of business to understand the needs and nuances of that business. That way you can talk their talk. Do you have a lead generator in place? Do you have a special no-brainer offer that can compel your potential clients to take action? I could go on but I think you get the gist.

I believe age should not be considered as part of success. Each person has his own life journey, so I think you do not have to be sad to have little money in your bank account at the age of 29. A person can be successful at the age of 25 but then get bankrupt at the age of 40. For you, may be you can be successful at the age of 40, if you keep trying hard enough, who knows?

So keep talking to people, keep questioning yourself and your problem, you will get your answer.

    Good luck

Really good point. Thanks Johnny. : )

Similarly there's no point in a Person comparing themselves to other People because everyone is different.

Don't be hopeless and demotivate yourself. Try again and you'll reach your target for sure. Good luck!

    Hi Chris.

Nobody is ever a "loser." That's just a useless label that people sometimes use when they're feeling down (etc.).

For me my self-esteem is partly built on the fact that I have overcome a great deal of adversity and (with help of many People) and now living a wonderful Life. Something that I think may be helpful is that the People who are the happiest/most fulfilled/etc. are the ones who are focused helping others in some way.

    HTH.

If you are really that good, build websites that sell SEO services......create content on SEO that points to the website. Create Youtube videos that give viewers a taste of what you can do...offer tips. Write articles on your blog or website.

And if you don't know anything about marketing, just look up successful websites that sell SEO services...and make yours better.

Why would anyone hire someone to make their web presence more profitable, if you aren't willing to do it for yourself?

    Walk your talk.

    Practice what you preach.

You said "I look at other peoples idea and they are complete crap, dumb stuff usually, my ideas always better and offer more as well yet mine dont take off?"

I have to agree with you, this is how losers talk. So...stop it.

I'm not trying to undermine what you're feeling but sometimes it's all in the mind. If you think you're crappy, you're totally going to feel crappy all over. The power of determination and positivity can do wonders, and I know it's easy to lose interest when you feel that all the drive and energy is going nowhere and accomplishing nothing.

This is where self-evaluation comes in. Sit down, think about what you really want, and what your goals are. If you're great at SEO, there's always room to become even better. Learning doesn't end, and sometimes you also need to unlearn some stuff that stops you from growth.

Success takes time and whoever said that it's easy to reach the top, had it handed to him on a plate.

Patience, determination, and resilience. These are the values you could do well with. Develop them and don't be afraid of growth.

HI Musular, I must say that you have knowlegde doesn't mean you will have money. However, this is the best part that with knowledge you could earn money fast if you know how.
I'm a prefessor but I can tell you an example.
You do SEO mean you can find leads, what could turn to customers of your own online business website (who knows).
Then your decision on when taking the chance is crucial.

Just say so. I'm an SEOer now and I'm not rich. I'm just happy !
