Welcome to the forum. Your request for guidance is very vague. Do you know exactly what you wish to achieve?

If you don't, I suggest that you check out the Internet marketing forums and read what others are posting there, get an understanding and then you can start asking specific questions.

If you do know what you want to achieve, I suggest you provide us with a bit more information to assist you.

  Well I have a thing for shoes and I enjoy just looking at them so I want to build a website that advertise shoes from the various stores online.. something like an affiliate website.. but I want it to be base mostly on the Jamaican culture or the Caribbean

  Who will you be marketing these shoes to?
  
  You will need a hosting account and domain name. I've been using Arvixe hosting for many years.
  
  You shoud also set up fb and instagram pages to post the shoes on and direct to your site for sales.
  
  Have you found any websites that sell the type of shoes you are referring to that offer affiliate programs?

  am in Kingston how is your neck of the woods this time of the year. I intend to target shoes lovers like myself.. I do have fb and insta accounts.. and yes ebay amazon forever 21 does have affiliate. I just need the proper guidance as I am new to the online business

As a beginner your absolute first goal is to pick your niche. Which will be something that you actually have an interest in or a current expertise in. Then you can go from there
