How can I make money traveling?

I know this is random....but does anyone have any idea how I can make decent money by traveling? (Nothing illegal!) I've been trying to come up with ways to make some money by traveling to a specific location for a person or even a company. I've thought of doing something like taking photos/videos, tracking down a hard to find item, driving a vehicle back, hand-delivering sensitive documents or items, anything really. Who would be willing to pay for a service like this and how would I contact them?

Oh, and did I mention that I will pay all of my own travel expenses? I could offer this service for pretty cheap. I love to travel and I do it anyway, so if I could make some good $$ along the way, that would make it even sweeter. Even if I only made a few hundred per trip that would be okay with me.

So, what have you got?

Thanks for entertaining my random request.

You can find YouTube channels people doing just that.
I believe they work with local businesses offering them promotion in exchange for accommodation, meals, local tours etc.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

Build up your blog WG then enter into prospering partnerships with local hotels and tourist boards and the like. Won't make money from day 1 usually so here's what you do:

    - pick a blogging niche you enjoy working; travel blogging would work nicely of course to vibe with your future partnerships
    - create products and services and eBooks to earn income
    - create helpful blog posts
    - make friends with a bunch of travel bloggers by promoting them

In time, the paid partnerships will flow your way but like any venture, this takes time. No way to get rich quick with traveling, like any online gig.

Create something really really really valuable through your blog - over time - and folks will pay you for the value you bring to the table.

Thanks Ryan. I thought about this idea as well but wasn't quite sure how to go about doing it. Your post is very informative.

    Do what Ryan just said.

The one thing you really need to focus on that he said was VALUE.

I just said this in another post, but it's true and applies here so I'll say it again.

"You are paid in direct proportion to the value you provide the people on your list".

So, build a blog, build a list and provide value.

    Then monetize as Ryan said.

After that; analyze whats working and what's not. Do more of what's working and stop doing what's not.

    Simple, but challenging.

You could drive a company semi truck, you'll travel everyday and never be home.

One of the stranger gigs I've had was as an eyeball courier. (No, that's not an online advertising euphemism.) The eyeballs had to travel from the hospital where they were harvested from the donor to the surgical center where the recipient would be waiting. (I'd sometimes meet the latter, but oddly, never the former.)

Yaro Starak just sent this out. I have no association with him other than being a customer and reading his emails. You might get some general ideas on how to accomplish your goal.

You´ll need a lot of luck and many years of hard work. Get popular on social media and youtube and by writing blogs. Then write travel blogs.
