The site owner is currently working on the site. The just recently released upgrade of ProStyler theme does not work with the latest version of Revolution Slider.

Well, l do have an i7, 16g ram, laptop, (which is a few months old) so pretty fast all up.

Just installed virtual XP, so l might take a look at it in that mode, and see what happens, (it will probably crash, or go white screen).

But if everyone viewing this is using windows 10, and gets a white screen then no further explanations are necessary.

Instructions:

When entering an Apple Store, don't be put off by the fact that you can't see anything on the tables from the entrance. You are seeing things edge on, they are very thin and the screen sizes are very small.

Be sure to put your provided mask on before entering, the fact that everything is glued down within the machines can cause noxious fumes to enter the ambient air. You should see all the staff wearing theirs.

Be sure not to touch any of the screens on the Mac PC's and little laptops as it will cause smudging. Do not expect any interaction to take place in that way as opposed to Window's PC's.

When asking about connector sockets on the Mac Laptops, aside from the mains, only expect to hear the answer: "three non standard ones" This is in place for a reason, the staff cannot count beyond three.

Be prepared to buy an add-on connector brick at an inflated price to allow you to connect your normal devices.

If buying any add-ons like ear buds, be prepared to go and shop for an hour before taking them away. as you will be buying them online. This gives the staff time to take them out of the cabinet in front of you and put them behind the counter with the purchase receipt.

Finally payment. It is a good idea to get a second mortgage before entering a Mac store but not always essential. If you own a Ferrari the prices may not disturb you. As a minimum, it is a good idea to be the owner of a gold or platinum amex card, but people have managed to make purchases by maxing out several lesser cards.

PS: "Never go in and ask the question: "How much to upgrade my machine" You will be met with either a bemused smile or an offer to show you the latest models.

If money was no object and you had asked me this three years ago (would I buy one). I would have said yes, simple reason why, I like 17 inch laptops with connectors to all devices, not smaller screen sizes. I would have liked the track-pad size then and the keyboard size and feel

Now they have smaller screen sizes only, enormous track pads and not upgradable.

I suppose you could argue that if money was no object the non-upgradability thing should not be an issue, just get a new one, fair enough.

However, as far as laptops go, Apple no longer makes anything that appeals to me, and I suspect..many others. Now, have you got a 17 inch Macbook Pro Laptop? What would happen if it went belly up, perhaps you like the screen size too. Now you only have 15 inches at best (talking about screen size

) What would you buy to replace your beloved Macbook Pro?

I don't do laptops. I'm a desktop kinda guy. Lovin' my 30" Hi-def Cinema display. Both of them, actually.

We've heard your litany of pseudo-rationalizations as to why no one wants a Mac. We've heard it and heard it and heard it all before, ad infinitum. Is it that hard to convince yourself of your own tired postulations?

No one cares what you think on the topic. Why would they? Do you think you would dissuade a single Mac enthusiast to all of a sudden, say, "Good points, all. I'd be happier with a PC?" You're problem is that in the end, it all comes down to money for you. The average Mac user rarely puts that into the equation. They buy want they want and what they love. They have the money or they'd be at Costco, trying to jump ahead of you in the line to purchase the cheapest piece of crap they could find.

I can afford a world-class workstation because I use one. It's not that hard to figure out.

Keep beatin' that dead horse. I guess it could mean something to someone, somewhere. Maybe.

I think that the latest attempt is a much better iteration. The night sky was totally inappropriate for what he is creating and switching from the stars to the bubbles, in my opinion, gives the impression of sprites or fairies. I recommended that he contact the developer as it would quite easy to replace the bubbles with fireflies or sprites. That would be cool. Just my 2¢.

So I did some work on the door, but unfortunately, between yesterday and today, the app decided to get buggy and although it is set to only play once, it loops, forever - and a day!

Tech support seems to be non-existent and there are not many apps to make animated gifs, as they are so 1990's. lol

Nothing is easy.

P.S. I believe my work-around for the bug will be adequate. I simply instructed the last panel to display to a value of 5000 instead of 200. Folks should be long gone off of the page before the animation would begin to repeat itself. Squash them bugs! Additionally, I added 5 seconds to the first panel before transitioning to make sure that the page is fully drawn and the visitor is oriented before the animation begins. There's 110 images in that sucker with 5 layers, 3 of which change opacity in every image. Tedious, but I am pleased, except for a few white artifacts that need to be dealt with, but that will have to wait until next weekend to be cleaned up. Some of us work for a living.. :-)

Yes, l have to agree partially with,.....Optin, on this one, a 15" Mac laptop is around the $4.5k mark in AU, (custom install the 1tb).

And eventhough frightfully expensive it does have the seriously cool slinder option on the keyboard, and a few other plusses, namely W10 is no-where to be seen.

From what l heard the next version of 10, will only allow what can be bought from Windows app site, and plenty more big brother BS.

So, it looks like Apple may be my next one?

I was initally Shocked by the windows 10 S release. It was supposed to be for low end machines and education, but then Microsoft were foolish enough to release it on their own hi end surface pro machines. At the moment the upgrade on them to windows 10 pro is free, but for how long?

What I now do understand now however is that it will not be the case that this O/S will be replacing the full version on all third party machine. This would be a big mistake and would hurt sales as the upgrade path is 50 bucks extra.

Consider this though, suppose this happened. You are still looking at paying around 1000 Australian dollars plus 50 for the upgrade for a decent windows PC, as opposed to 4.5 k for an Apple. Still no contest in value for money!
