What do Girls Hate in Boys???

we don't do whining very well. We want to fix stuff. In our eyes, you're whining because you have a problem. To get you to stop whining, the problem needs to be fixed.

Women want men to do their 'fixing' for them. When the sink breaks, you dont call your girlfriend, when there's a spider in the corner, you aren't calling your sister, if the oil needs changed, trash needs taken out, or things need to be fixed around the house, you're not calling the girls at the office, you're calling us. So after a while we figure that if you're calling us, something needs fixed.

And when our powers of ESP fail us and we don't realize that you dont want something fixed, you want a shoulder to cry on, we get blamed for it.

This is why men will never know what women want, because women dont know what women want.

You want the toilet seat up, then gripe if its left up. you want the seat down then gripe when its down.

You ask us questions like 'do i look fat in this?' or 'do you think my friend is cute', and there is no winning answer to those types of questions.

Women...you need to align yourself with this fact: You are smarter than we are. We know this. But we are stronger than you are, thats why WE kill the spiders, not you. Women and men from the time they are children deal with the world in different ways. Men are about the physical, women are about the psychological. Thats why men are much more deeply hurt in relationships than women, they arent used to being 'cut' with stuff like 'you are just like your father' or something similar.


If you understand that you are smarter than we are, you won't expect us to be good listeners, and just be impressed with our spider killing skills. We are the protectors, the hunter gatherers, the worker for the queen bee, that is our job as dictated by nature.

Feed us, give us a little sex now and then and let us watch some sports, and we'll kill all the spiders and fix all the cabinet doors you want and life will have balance.

Speaking from the male perspective, I think it's because men still like to be mothered - at times. But at other times, they have to show how tough they are.

If I get a mild cold, my wife takes care of me in the most caring way. To be honest, I am not good at returning the favor, though I do try. But, every year I carry the air conditioner up from the basement, and that thing is heavy, awkward, and the edges dig into my hands - in short, it hurts, BUT it has to be done. There isn't time to complain about the pain.

Don't know how much that helps. Just my take on it.

One thing that drives me nuts is all the TV commercials that make men look like bumbling idiots. Yogurt commercials, for example. I often wonder what would happen if ANY commercial portrayed women the same way.

Oh well, there ARE differences between the sexes, no matter what certain groups want us to believe. And I love those differences. However, I have never been a fan, nor a participant in macho male posturing. When men do that they just look like...well, for lack of a better term, they look like the part of the human anatomy that makes them male.
