Here's Weird Al's parody of "Happy" called "Tacky". What makes this video really cool is that it was all filmed in one shot with no cuts.

Lol, that was pretty good, but the video won't play in AU, this one does...

Pink hands,.....hmmm, glad that Weird Al, is still about.

Weird Al's longevity is amazing. He's still around even after all these years. His career has lasted longer than most of the musicians he parodied

Yes, a lot of money and fame, tends to make you prescription drug addicted.

That could be because he actually has more talent and creativity than most of the musicians he parodies. Note that I said 'most,' to preclude any argument you might choose to initiate.

        Thank you.

      Jerk!

You knew that my insatiable neediness would make me watch the whole video...hoping to see myself. And of course I watched the whole thing.

But being "Tacky" isn't so bad. Don't take a shower for a month, or change your clothes....and you'll be tacky to the touch.

Tacky isn't the worst thing you could be called. It sounds better than "Dan Riffle" by a mile.

Don't worry Claude you weren't in this one, although.....

The next Weird Al, music video will be called "Because I'm Sticky", then you will get a leading role,..or more likely a jam roll.

Yes, but this might have been take 10, where the camera guy finally did it all without falling over anything, or anyone, or being physically ill.

Could be. It could also be Take 52. But the end result is still impressive.

Hitchcock did something similar in "Rope". Rope was a lot longer and only had 3(?) cuts in the entire movie, but the cameraman didn't have to move nearly as much as in Weird Al's video.

BTW, the first dancer after Weird Al is Aisha Tyler from Archer and the host of Whose Line Is It Anyway. I didn't recognize her at first.

And you're certainly welcome to do that. I'm certain that even Big Frank would agree with that as he had a reputation for being a big supporter of free speech and for people to express their opinions freely, even when they didn't agree with those that believe that if you don't agree with their opinion, you don't have a right to post.

Free speech doesn't exist on private property, which this is, except for the property owner.

And this is a concept Big Frank could never comprehend...It wasn't his place to insult guests of the owners of this property, even if those insults may have been justified by many people. When you visit someone else's property, you need to respect THEIR free speech.

BTW, I never said you didn't have a "right" to post. As a matter of fact I apologized TWICE for trying to have a conversation about something other than Claude.

I hope you feel better, soon, Kurt.

ADDED: Additionally, I've seen very little (if anything) dished-out in the OT, that really required an apology, to most anyone's way of thinking. I certainly have never expected one from anyone on anything. It's a playground, and even immaturity should be expected and accepted, especially if the 'private property' is not 'owned' by you.

Archer is shown on ABC2 (and is also available on Netflix). There is an Australian version of Whose Line Is It Anyway (on Channel 10). The American and English versions are on the Comedy Channel (FoxTel).

Archer, Family Guy, and Bob's Burgers are about as good as it gets for laugh out loud wittiness.

I watched an episode of Archer where they were just stuck in the elevator for the whole show, and I nearly peed my pants, it was so funny.

The old cartoon series The Tick had that kind of humor.

I like Archer and Bob's Burgers, however I have to confess that I never got into Family Guy. I liked the first few seasons of American Dad when Stan was played as an arch right winger. Since they downplayed that angle, the show lost all its funniness.

South Park is still good value and still pokes fun at everything and everyone, although it's not as funny as it used to be.

Bobs Burgers, l guess that is an half hour sitcom, about some overweight guy, cracking jokes to the waitresses and Cheers has beens?

I guess that is better than, some New Zealand cooking show, or renovation show?

A renovation show in New Zealand, that does cooking, and has a murder,...perfect.

I guess Bobs Burgers has to be better than Benson reruns.
