How do you "thank someone" for a post?

If you look at the bottom of my post you will see 4 buttons.

Quote, Multiquote, Quick Reply, and then Thanks

Just click Thanks and you're done.

The alternative would be to just send me a moderate amount of cash.

Do you have to have a certain number of posts on the forum before the "Thanks" button becomes available?

Right now, all I see are "Quote" "Multiquote" and "Quick Reply".

Yes, you do need a certain number of posts before that feature is activated. I'm not sure how many that is, but it's not very many.

I only have 17 'official' posts, because I hang out in this part of the forum, but I can see the THANKS button, so it must not be many posts you need to make to be able to use it.
