These genius kids are killing themselves. Maybe you can help?
Not asking for a donation or anything, just figure that some of you will know someone.
A friend of mine has started a group for parents of kids with aspergers. These kids are all geniuses at something and are massively gifted especially with computers and data and other stuff BUT they find it next to impossible to interact with the people in business for them to hold down jobs so they live with their parents and are pretty much on suicide watch all the time.
The parents have been working with a Doctor in Australia who has advised that if the kids can be involved in some sort of paid work then this will give them a reason to live so my friend has started a club where the parents interact with the employers and get the kid some work, basically acting as a filter.
I have written to Google, NASA and Microsoft but if any of you have contacts at these three or any other ideas please let me know, would be a good service.
The kids are usually aged between 10 and 20.
