I saw the John Lennon exhibit at one of my trips to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was several years ago.

What an exhibit!

The toughest part was seeing the broken, blood-stained glasses he was wearing when he was brutally murdered. They weren't out in the open. You had to walk up and look into a cubby hole to see them. It took me several tries before I could do it. Then I wept like a baby, and didn't care who saw me.

There was artwork that spanned his life, report cards, handwritten lyrics, Sgt. Pepper's uniform, all kinds of stuf, plus the bed where he recorded Give Peace A Chance.

p.s. This year I will be re-instituting a personal tradition which I haven't done for too long: I will wear all black on December 8th.
