http://www.freegadgetsforme.co.uk/ and you can click on “Links” for a long list of specialized sites as well. I use a laptop myself, but made the mistake of buying one that's a bit too heavy, though the large screen is nice. I want a really light notebook next time. | |

Was working from a laptop for years...and went back to a desktop recently. The difference is like night and day....the 4 core i5 desktop is blazing fast compared to my 2 core Turion laptop...and it's only about 2 years old! Going to be real neat when I move into my new home....wireless networking...32" computer screen...ambitious boy recliner...now that's how you get work done! |

Laptop but only b/c I travel quite a bit and like relaxing on the coach wile doing some work (or elsewhere). Going to get a desktop and multi monitor setup though, I want to build my own but there are so many good quad core desktops available now that you can add a few things to pretty cheaply.

Laptop because you can just grab it and go. Easier to handle, not too much hassle and definitely user friendly. Just grab and go, whether going on the train, the bus or on any little trip ..the laptop is the thing
