"Today is the 1 year anniversary of World of Goo's release, and 2dboy [2dboy.com] is offering a birthday sale of "Name your own price". The game is normally $20 (what I paid when this fantastic little game came out) but you can get it for as low as $0.01, depending on how generous you feel."

    A friend posted the above information on a different forum I frequent.
    I went ahead and bought it for a buck. Got to say, at first glance it looks like it could become quite addicting!
    I went ahead and bought a 2nd copy for my wife. $2 for $40 worth of games is quite a bargain.

    Oh man. I am addicted to BigFishOnlineGames - already wasting an hour every day minimum. They have some games free online and then hundreds you can download for a one hour free trial with some enhancements.

    I am feeling guilty I do not join but it is $7 a month and then you get all the games for $7 each and some for $3. Too expensive.

    When it comes to entertainment it is the first thing to go in the budget - so I will just spend my time feeling guilty instead.

    (my thing is hidden object games and if really bored silly word and 3 of a kind/popping games).

    What are your games Arcade/adventure?

    Escape games are really frustrating unless you read the directions - I am not going to do that - too much like work.

    Patrician, I've never heard of BigFishOnlineGames, sounds like something I should tell my wife about. Like you, her games are hidden object games.

    I could have bought the Goo game for as little as a penny, but I would have felt terrible if I had done that...I think everyone should get paid for their work.

    Of course, its not the type of game I normally play, Usually I spend an hour or two playing a multi-player first person shooter with friends. I have a very small gaming forum that I run.
