Being a new member to this forum I thought I'd share a little bit with those that like to read about other people.
I started up on this internet money making back in 1996 with a few small money making PPC ventures. I let it go for awhile and joined the military and then did the corporate thing for many years.
I've had this life long dream of sailing around the world. With no kids or wife to claim me, a couple years ago I decided to drop everything and head on the road with my dog and a laptop. I made a huge mistake in that time. I assumed that what I had already created online would self sustain for some time. I had google adwords all setup to keep steady traffic coming in. I did have steady money but it kept decreasing as time went on. I worked odd jobs for food, to let my internet money to keep rolling back into itself. Well it eventually died down to the point where I am basically where I am now.
I decided to take what money I had left and head down here to mexico where I could live very cheapily and restart this internet money making engine once again. I am a php developer so I write very specific scripts and databases to do what I need for content and such, not to mention I do sell scripts that I write for some not so moral activities. After a couple months now here in acapulco, i'm just starting to be able to self sustain on the money I make online but hope to build it back up to the glory I once had. I really enjoy mexico, I love the people, the food, the beaches and of course the night life. But when it comes to trying to run a successful venture from a different country away from friends and family it takes its toll. I guess not requiring much in the means of "things" makes this much more reasonable for me. For some that require cars or houses and all that its definitely not the way to go.
