Ok, I bought submiteaze, the software was working fine, I was pretty happy with it for a while but then i got bored of it and decided I wanted to sell my license and buy a better submitter that I found.

anyway the submiteaze "Gang" didnt like me selling my license on because they dont want thier customers to go anywhere else, they want us trapped just liek our government. So what did they do? They disabled my license key after I paid $80 and never responded to my emails, how many did I send? about 10! not 1 response or an explanation of why I cant use my license again? I emailed a few aplogies because I honestly didnt know I couldnt trasnfer my license over, I mean I wasnt using the thing why coulnt I give it to someone else? Its not like i tried to scam them or give thier software out.

So ye, they Done me over, just because I wanted to leave, now I've lost $80 and cannot even use the submit eaze software, so before you buy this crap, Please think twice, because customer service are really poor and seem like a bunch of jackasses. I just want peopleto be aware of companies like this, if you do something wrong they wont think twice to do you over, even if you are legit and made an honest mistake.

thats My rant over

No its not the 1st time, I bought alot of software most let me transfer my license, also in thier t&c didnt see anything stating i cannot trasnfer my license. Also I know I made a mistake but why not reply to my emails? Oh yeah, they already had my money so it didnt matter anymore did it.

Let me tell you something. There aree TWO kinds of licenses!!!!!

      1. The kind that are tied to a COMPUTER! Changing computers requires THEIR intervention. Some of these may NOT have a central database, and those may be easy to STEAL, and companies won't want you to sell!

      2. The kind that AREN'T tied to a computer. These kind are easy to STEAL, and companies won't want you to sell PERIOD!

You said there was a LICENSE! They usually start out saying it is for YOU, not to be resold, transferred, etc....! UNLESS they say otherwise, that is IT! So the lack of statement to the contrary is tantamount to saying you can't sell it.

There IS a reason for that key afterall!

      You should know that.

Because I emailed them and told them i transferd my license over to a new guy can you activate it for him because I will no longer be using the software. then they told me I wasnt allowed to trasnfer license codes to another party via a thread on a forum where i was discussing selling it to the guy

So I emailed back and said can you re-activate mine then because no-where on thier website have I seen anything discussing license codes and transferals of license and since then no replies. I emailed like 10 times over a period of 1-2 months thinking they might have the decency to give me an explanation but nothing.

Do you understand where Im coming from now? Im the customer they should explain it to me rather than just ignoring me because they already have my money and they know i cant do nothing about it. It wasnt like I tried to scam them or anything

Well, this is kind of a GIVEN, so I don't think you can argue that it is like a shrinkwrap license. Generally, you have the option to chargeback or refund, It gives OTHER details at SubmitEaze - Directory Submission Software - Purchase

Oh well, I HATE those kinds of programs anyway.

To be honest I just bought the software yesterday. Having problems in Article Submission I just went ahead and wrote an email to support explaining my problem.

To my surprise while I was searching for support/reviews in WF about Submiteaze, I landed on this post. Before I could give a second thought on my purchase, I got a prompt response from their support which solved my problem.

I believe the software is what they say it is. The support is excellent, so I would recommend to go ahead and buy it.

I believe the WF members should know about the support and service from Submiteaze, so I am posting it here.

I was pretty happy with it for a while but then i got bored
If you buy an expensive ebook do you try to sell it to someone else after you read it? Your boredom is not the vendor's problem - and there is no financial reason for them to allow you to sell their product.

This is the most ridiculous rant I've read for a long time. You used the product and were happy with it - but now you want to sell the license so that usage it will cost you nothing. And you are surprised they don't like that?

Only a fool would pay you $80 for a license of questionable value (transfer not allowed in most cases) when they could buy their own version for $78+ on the vendor's site and be assured of no problems.

The reference to "trapping" is ludicrous. The vendor could have TWO sales and is not interested in one sale that results in licenses being traded around.

Kay King ..in response to you. IF you buy a house the government should never allow you to sell it EVER. The license is your to do whatever you want...unless they specify otherwise. So if it doesn't say you can't RESELL IT....it MEANS YOU CAN. In what world are you living? Not even the law is like that. I don't think the law says that some things are self explenatory ...they tell you what you can't do. Also with the software... IF THEY DIDN'T TELL YOU that you can't and you didn't agree with that, you can sell it, resell it, give it away for FREE.

IF you sir have bought a car...who says you can't give it away, borrow it , or anything else...

It's just stupid what you say...so you must be a software publisher... Also the software is not that good. I BOUGHT a license...and I agree they are ripping you off....

DID you know you have to buy a license again for 15$ if you reinstall the software on your pc ? If you try and reinstall it on your pc you will have to request a different key....try it with the trial and you will see that you have to pay 15$ for every installation you do ....everytime you install windows on a machine...the license is gone.

THEY DO TRY to cheat you.

AND you don't have any knowledge about the legal, licensing side of things...also NO LOGIC ....

So stay with your crappy computer, car, house, phone, windows, books, whatever...and don't try to sell them EVER.

I'm a software vendor myself and license abuse is the bane of my life, and I also know quite a bit on the subject.

Comparing a software product with a car or house is not doing the same comparison. When you buy a car or a house you own the object. When you purchase a license to use software, you did not 'buy the software', you bought a license to use it - notice the word 'license' it is the key factor here.

That's why all software publishers make you accept a 'license agreement' when you install the software, where the terms of the license are set out. I've looked at SubmitEaze's license agreement and it clearly states under 'permitted use':

      "
You may not sublicense, transfer or assign this License Agreement or any of your rights or obligations under this License Agreement, in whole or in part."

So there you go - you were breaking the license agreement by trying to sell it. Rant about it all you like, but you broke the license agreement and you must live by the consequences.

Same here, i cannot even begin to describe all the different types
of scams, lies, cons, ect that people try to pull.

Besides, in the USA, you CANNOT return opened software you purchase
at a store, most merchant accounts same thing, PAYPAL same thing.

Yet for some reason, a lot people think they can buy, not use it, or use it for a
month or so, and then demand a refund....

        it is ridiculous

WF is a crap place to sell software any way... unless you trying to build a funnel

everyone wants what took you a year of creating and testing for 7 bucks.
