I knew the name sounded familiar, but until I saw his picture on Larry King, I had no idea who he was.

Sweat Lodge Death Investigation

Sounds like this sort of thing has been going on by Native Americans for hundreds of years, wonder what went wrong this time.

    Hi Scot, read the article and it sounds like it could have
    been carried out in a better manner. I think it was about
    60 people in a very small space of about 400 sq ft. My
    guess is they died from heat exposure.

    Sweat lodges have been used by certain tribes for much
    longer than hundreds of years. Minor point, but just wanted
    to add perspective.

    This is bad, really. These people paid about 10 grand to do
    this. It's something that should be free, and truthfully anyone
    can do this with just a little research, care, and an open mind.
    It was ultimately slanted toward creating inner "conditions" for
    material gain. That is not the true intention of engaging in this
    sort of activity as practiced by Native Americans.
