On this day, the Smashing Pumpkins CD Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was released and debuted on the Billboard album chart at # 1.

This is one of the big hits from that album.

    I didn't do a whole lot today, but the family and I drove around. While doing so, I listened to The Beatles (commonly called "The White Album") from beginning to end. It was 30 songs of pure pleasure.
