Anyone involved in Forex Trading than can impart some advice?

Over the past year or so I have been sent many emails about this forex product and that forex trading product, some of them from marketers well know in the IM niche. I have ignore all of them until now simply because I don't know anything about this market and I did not want to commit time to learn.

However, a few days ago I got a link from a warrior who has a Forex Trading training product and is soon releasing a trading bot, I started reading his salesletter and the more I read the more interested I became, I'm now very tempted to get involved but before I make up my mind I would like to hear the experiences of warriors who are involved with forex trading.

Where would a Forex Trading newbie start?
How much time is required to learn and become a proficient trader?
What are the risks/rewards in this type of investing?
What are the scams to look out for?
Realistically, how much capital is required to get off to a good start?
What are the good software/bad software?
How much time is required to trade per day
Anything else I should be aware of?
