So guys I pass by restaurants everyday in my area, I see many but i never try them i only go to the same restaurants im used to or rather restaurants ive tried their food and liked ... I have done some research and see most people order from the restaurants also not trying others ...

so i thought about it and asked myself how can this be changed? ehmm I came up with how about I collaborate with restaurants and tell people in the area to come try a food tasting, meaning the restaurant will know what they will like to taste they have it prepared for maybe 10-20 people trying to come taste it a day, if they like it they become possible customers and if they dont like it they leave ...

what do you guys think about this idea? makes sense or Nahh?

thanx in advance

True, he needs to gulp down a banana first, with a whipped cream chaser.

That is a GREAT! idea. I think if you actually put that project in place and make it happen it would be a great success. However, do some research like take survey of the people in your area to see how many people would be interested in coming to such an event.

    Keep us posted on that.

Its a interesting idea and maybe you can get a better idea of what more people think by asking friends and relatives what they think about it also. When you ask them, your idea should be described more in detail. The more precise your idea is described, the better understanding you can get of how many people. Exaktly what type of food are you reffering to? Food for what type of events? What will this food cost? When a customer has tasted the food and decides he wants to buy, what will you charge? Maybe also think about some form of minimum fee later on, if the restaurant would gain popularity, to avoid people just trying to eat for free?

The better you understand crowd psychology, the better you can understand how you should shape your idea, for this idea to eventually become a profitable business. Understanding what there is demand, or create a demand for some sort of food and then sell it. Allways remember that maybe you really think its a good idea, but how can you make it profitable.

Allways have in mind how much time and money you want to invest in a idea. Try to make a budget and realistically think if you personally would go to the restaurant, that you are thinking of potentially creating.

Yes, this will work, but you'll need a promotional budget to get these new customers.

Here is a way to charge the restaurants for your service and it's nearly free to them to do.

You have two restaurants give out coupons for a free coffee or slice of pie or a discount (the free stuff works better than just a discount) to all their customers as they leave.

They are non competing places such as one is an espresso place and the other is a steakhouse.

The steakhouse gives out the espresso places coupon and the espresso place gives out the steakhouses coupon to people as they leave or with their order.

They have to be non competing places such as an ice cream shop and a sushi place so they are not giving away business.

But, it's a win, win for both places.

You charge a set up fee and a monthly fee to track everything.

    There you go!

It is a solid idea, a replica of the free sample giveaways. Anyone marketing a hotel will definitely have something to share with their bosses in the next meeting.

This is an interesting idea. People love everything that is offered to them for free. Still there is an option, as when ordering a certain amount, something goes as a gift (for example, a can of Coca Coke).

This will work. You will indeed have people come over. The concept is similar to marketing. You will have traffic diverted to you but the (results) bounce rate will actually depend on (the quality) how good the food is.

It's good to try out new restaurants. That is good advice for me too. I'm too repetitive with food choices.
