| I’ve just joined the Warrior Forum and my biggest challenge is trying to figure out how the site is set up or how to find the information that would be most helpful for me. I feel like a mouse in a maze running into dead ends and having no clue about what is happening around me or which way to go to get the cheese. It appears that there are a bunch of different things happening. I see the section for blogs but don’t know if those are blogs set up within this site or pointing to something outside this site. I don’t know how the blog is different from the forum. If I have a thought to share, I don’t know, if I should scroll to the bottom of the responses or respond with the “Quick Reply” button below the answer that caught my interest. I don’t know how this all works. I don’t know how the topics are arranged, I have seen people talking about the world coming to an end and another asking for advice on whether they should spank their child or not and these appear right in the middle of a series of discussions about Internet Marketing. I don’t know how to find the answer to this question after I hit the send button. I would be so grateful, if you could help me understand the big picture. It is hard to use something when you are feeling your way in the dark and have no idea what you are touching or where you are headed. Thanks, in advance for your help. Glenda |

Blesslane7 One of the easiest ways to understand the big picture when it comes to conducting a profitable online based business is to understand the many methods ( models ) of earning money on the internet. You need to get a basic understanding of the basic online business models and then you can go from there - by selecting one of them to conduct. That will help you eliminate lots of confusion and info-overload. Here's a thread ( mine ) that has helped a lot of people like yourself, get their heads on straight. Newbies Are Darn Lucky These Days!! All The Best!! TL Ps. You may want to investigate the domain name investing model also. |

But, the main picture here, this is Internet Marketing Forum, to find out all about Internet Marketing, maybe selling your product/services, or buying other members products/services, and to ask advice for your trouble and share your mind with other members. You need to understand the rules and TOS first. Warrior Forum Rules -Malik

![]() Lots going on here - some cheese is a great sharp cheddar or marvelous feta but some is old and moldy (and some just pretend to have cheese to draw in the mice). Read a lot - don't buy much at first - you'll be fine. Hitting the WF for the first time is a bit like waking up in bed in the middle of a huge carnival...but it's a great place and you'll figure it out. Do take the time to read the sticky rules in the various sections as that will save you some grief going forward. Welcome kay

Here's the reality...You are walking into a bunch of conversations already in progress, which is the main purpose of forums. This forum isn't intended to take you by the hand and show you how to make money. And, you won't be able to learn everything in a day or two. Instead, read a lot, then follow the topics that seem to make the most sense. Also learn how to REALLY use Google to research some of the topics that you need more info about. In a month or two, start formulating a plan, but you still need some basic info before you can create an educated plan. And remember, it's OK to feel over-whelmed, but you must be patient. |

Thanks for the information. Your breakdown really helps explain some of the different directions people are headed on the forum. Hopefully, I will be able to connect with some people who are headed in a similar direction so maybe we can share a ride. I really appreciate you taking time to share. Glenda

I appreciate the expansion of the mouse and cheese analogy. You gave me a good laugh and clarity at the same time. Glenda

This forum is the best but also the worst site on the web haha! there is SO much information... and to be frank, some of it is crap. You did the right thing by coming to the Off-Topic forum, you can get the feeling of hidden agendas in the other forums. Word of caution... don't buy anything from the WSOs just yet... read up first! |

Glenda, ...you only get clarity when looking through a hole in swiss cheese. See how much you have to learn here? ![]() Sorry - can't answer about the "quick reply" - never used it. |

There is an entire video series by Adeel Chowdrey that explains Warrior Forum and I believe that it is here on the Forum somewhere. If you cannot find it here is the link: www. warriorforumvideos.com It is a freebie and very informative. Don't drive yourself crazy..take an hour or so and watch them.. |

Hi Tom, Thanks for the tip. I'm familiar with some of Adeel's training materials but didn't realize he had a video about using the forum. It is those little buttons and basic concepts that are so foreign to someone who is just beginning. Will try to report back when I locate the video, if you or someone else knows the direct link, please share. Really appreciate you help. Glenda |
