Hi guys.I just wanted to ask if at all car stereo's play songs recoreded in the mp3 format.I converted some songs to mp3 format from flv and burned them to a recordable disc. But all the cars I tried them in could not play them.Is it that cars cannot play mp3's or that I am doing something wrong somewhere. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Only if you get the ones that are supposed to. And they are available.

If you burn the MP3s to a CD, the car stereo will play them if it has the capability. You don't have to do anything special to the disc. Most car stereos that are MP3 capable indicate so on the faceplate. John |

It's only in the last few of years that car stereo's have started to come with MP3 capability. Like John said, it usually says on the unit somewhere. If the cars are older models then there's little change I'm afraid.

MP3s are a SPECIAL format, and they will NOT play on older CD players. Even some NEW ones may not work, but some DO. Like everyone says, they usually indicate that on the front of the player. I think they ALL work automatically Steve |

Depends on the stereo... you could buy an adaptable cable an put your mp3 sinc to your car... that worlks better! Jocy |
