Especially this new Belgium imperial ipa. It's 9% alcohol per beer. It really has some kick to it. Three does me for good

I like the high alcohol content beers as well and my limit is about 3 24 oz beers . But my a1 c tested at 7.5 recently. So no more drinking for a while. Unless I'm eating a very high fiber meal .

Only addiction I admit to is coffee I can't go without coffee in the morning.

Yeah I hear you Odahh. My a1 c was at 5.7 early in the year which is pre diabetic. And I will find out what it recently is on July 7.

Exercise is the only reason why it's not as high... as I have a big sweet tooth

After a few beers my dietary choices. Are just bad. I'll probably get a continuous glucose monitor installed in the next few months. And test what I can drink and eat and when. So until then it's intermittent fasting and little to no alcohol or sugary beverages.

You know the high fructose corn syrup beverages are as bad on the liver as alcohol

You can do it. I find out that the Mind is a very powerful thing. And anything you put your mind to you can do.

          Cheers to an a1 c of 5

I need to get my weight down. 40-50 pounds. It's all aim my belly and was there before I started drinking 7 years ago..

Now when I get my own place if I have a high fiber meal at lunch I can probably drink a few beers with lunch. Or I'll just flavor my coffees in the morning with kalua and cacao nibs. Off the Vegas strip alcohol is cheaper here than in much of the country because it doesn't have near as much tax.

Because of the heat I drink close to 2 gallons of water a day. But it's only so long before I need to drink something with flavor and kick during the day I can cut out the junk food pretty easily. But I'm no angle and need to sin somewhere. Haha. And I live cheap bad habits. And alcohol is actually cheaper than sodas here.

I used to drink Bud Light and that's it. Back then I drank to get drunk.

Health kick kicked in and I quit drinking beer to save myself.

But I missed it. So, instead of buying the same ole, I bought one of the cheap at home kits to make your own beer. That's how I discovered IPAs.

Now I only drink IPA. I don't drink anything else. It's like coffee, only black coffee and no other.

Drinking Eastside IPA (Excel) tonight. I did however quit getting drunk - hangovers last too long lol. I drink a few on the weekend days and that's good enough for me.

I love the canned IPAs especially local brands. Hazy types are awesome!
