If you're in the UK you've probably heard how bad the weather in in the North West Of England and South West Scotland. When I took a look outside this afternoon I fast came to the conclusion that "Ark Building" is going to be a very hot niche... Now where did I leave my wellington boots? John |

Hi John, Here in the West of Ireland it is just as bad - rivers where the roads and fields once were... I've been varnishing my canoe for the trip to the nearest shop (6 miles!) Another avenue that I was thinking of exploring was Gondola trips round the town - what do you think? Karen p.s. When you start looking for pairs of animals for your Ark, I have two whippets - so the dogs are taken care of... |

There are many areas of the world flooding right now. As recently as August many countries were in several year long droughts. Suddenly many are flooding (desertificated land will NOT hold water). There are only a few areas still dry. And it doesn't appear that the situation is going to reverse itself any time in the near future. We are going into cold.....and that means more water. Hopefully it will not continue at this level though. Might be a good time for everyone to have a boat of some sort - or at least an inflatable raft in their home for emergencies. |
