Default Adding links to PDF files

Hey guys. I am making a free 8 week program to for incentive to join my newsletter, but I only have a free version of PrimoPDF to make my pdf files. I am wondering how I make an external link in my pdf files. I am using word to make my original file which has the links going out to various articles on my site but when I make it a pdf, the link is underlined and blue but you can't click on it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to do this? Ive never worked with PDFs before.

Thanks in advance.

Use Open Office OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite
It's free and will do what you want.
You can use it to open the Word file and it may convert the links when you convert or save it as a pdf file.
If not save it as an open office file first (.odt) and then convert it.

Travis,
Did you make sure the link was clickable in Open Office before you converted it to PDF? If you only opened a Word document with OO, maybe the link didn't carry over. Try manually adding back your hyperlink in OO and then convert to PDF. I have never had a problem with my links when I use OO, but I usually create my files in OO instead of Word when I know that I plan to convert them.
Hope this helps.

Are you adding the links using the hyperlink button on the toolbar? It gives you a place to put the target site. Also, you need to convert it using Open Office rather than Primo. On the Open office document, it's File/Export as PDF/Export.
