How do I thank another for a good post

I've seen that some members have "thanked" other members for good posts, but I can't figure out how to do it? I just read a great post on using real flies to carry around your marketing message (yes, really) and just wanted to thank the poster for starting the thread with a link to the video, but...
How do I thank him. I don't see a button anywhere, and I don't see anything about it in the FAQ. Anyone?

Just send me $1 and I'll see to it you get a Thanks button on the bottom of each post on the far right.

), but all I see at the bottom right of each post is "QUOTE", "MULTIQUOTE", and "QUICK REPLY". Is there supposed to be a "THANKS" button there too, or am I looking in the wrong place?

The "Thanks" button will appear on the bottom right of an entry when you have enough posts on the scoreboard.

). I don't understand why it would be based on number of posts (for that feature), but it explains it. If I remember, I shall return to this thread when I am judged to be more worthy.
