Since it's Thanksgiving this week here in the US, I decided to ask the question: What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for IMer's that don't mind helping and answering questions from beginners.

      I second that.
Minus the children as I haven't any.
But overall I am Thankful that I am constantly working towards making myself better. Trying to make others life better. Having a purpose in life.
Not going around in circles blaming others for my failures rather learning from them and constantly trying to improve everything around me with a positive attitude.

      Great thread by the way.
      Thanks

I'm thankful that my dog that lays under my computer desk stopped passing gas (phew). Although now I don't have to trim my nose hairs for awhile. Everyone have a great Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for your help and I hope my posts helps someone back. God Bless You All

It's only a cliche to those who haven't truly faced their own mortality. Kind of a shame really, because it's such a waste to take life for granted.

beer, vodka, 7 dogs not farting in unison tonight, the really nice horseradish and roasted garlic pike's peak I had for dinner, the raccoon that got out of the trash can when I asked nicely, a 2-day work week, my daughters going to sleep without making me be mean dad, my hot tub omg I love you, something I may have smoked before finding the hot tub, string beans, crocs, beef jerky, sombreros, doritos and pie.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

I am thankful for my husband of 21 years, for the fact that my son survived a major auto accident with only very minor injuries (for the second time), that my nephew returned from Iraq to his family safely (also for the second time), that my mother is fit and strong, that my sisters and their families are happy and healthy, and that we will all be together and safe for the holidays. Life is good when your family is happy, healthy, and safe.

I just post a list like a few others did.

    Life
    Music
    Ability to learn
    Ale
    Love
    Kindness
    Rapid Cell Regeneration
    Eating Healthy
    Nature
    Oxygen
    Water
    Fire
    Wind
and since others brought their religion into it, I have the right to do the same.

I'm thankful that no wars were ever fought in the name of a peaceful pagan. Peace to everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Edit: I'm also thankful for the ability to learn from mistakes (not just mine) and move forward.

For sink knobs that you just have to turn and water comes out of it. One for hot and one for cold So easy

I made a net friend, an American living in the Congo doing humanitarian work. She has a blog up and just reading the way they live, makes you realize how many "little things" (to us) we take for granted. I was just thinking recently how glad I am I don't have to carry a jug and hike forever to pump water from a pump-up, down, up down, then carry it back and repeat everytime you need water, but all I have to do is turn a knob and voila-water. Hot or cold.

And cold green tea with peach and mango that doesn't have high fructose corn syrup
