Is subscribing to a thread the only way to track a thread in this forum ?

The forums I'm used to use enables you to see all your threads and post in the "CP" (control panel). But i didn't find that here.

Searching excluded, because that's lame.

Look in the red toolbar - you'll find "user CP" - or you can just click on your forum name when it appear in a thread.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

Actually i know where the cp was, but it does not give an overview of all your threads.

Go to your profile and click on the Statistics tab. You'll see options for 'Find all posts by' and 'Find all threads started by.'

      They have what you want.

If you take a look at the left hand side where it says user CP, you will be able to see all the post that you have subscribed to. Usually these are the ones that you made a post in.
