Couple of days ago I did a real "stupid" (seems to be one of my favorite hobbies lately).

My xp system crashed. No recovery discs due to long sad story about how I came to own it, so real quick I installed ubuntu so I could keep running.

Stupid part is that I clicked the "use the whole disc" button so we all know what happened to contents of that particular hard drive!

Question----is there a freeware or shareware program around that will help me undo this action or am I stuck with paying for one?

thanks

I looked it up like a week ago. Same thing kind of happened to me.

I wasnt able to find anything free. But you can always download File Recover - File Recovery, Restore deleted files for free and it will find the files.

It wont recover them unless you pay but it will at least tell you if they are recoverable.

My free PSD logs can be downloaded at PSD Bum. Enjoy!
