Wow, my music tastes are so varied, I thought I'd see what other Warriors are listening to today.

Here are some snappy favorite tunes here:

...and right now it's "Smoky Mountain Rain" by Ronnie Milsap - about a guy searching for his girl in the Smoky Mts. while rain's fallin' and he's catching rides with truck drivers.

Great tune here (not my site):

Man o man, I love The Warrior by Scandal.
Patty Smyth put out several solo albums after Scandal broke up and , The best one imo was her self titled one put out in 1992.
Quite a collection you got there tho, I'd say a majority are also on my listening list.

Although Donvan wrote it, this version of Season Of The Witch will always be the definitive one in my mind.

You and me both, though I like Vanilla Fudge's version also.
The Super Session album has been one of my all time favorites since I first heard it in 69 (I think it was).

True, Vanilla Fudges version is good too. I have all three on my itunes.
Another song, actually one of many, that I have as many versions of that I can find is Feeling Alright, by Traffic/Dave Mason. I think Grqand Funks version is aslmost as good as the original.

I have to come forward a couple or 3 decades and this would probably be better off in the "unknown" thread, but it is what I just finished listening to.

I won't go into my drumming days.
I'll just say I sold my last set in 98 to a local gentleman who has them in his private museum.
The set was 1 of only 500 in the color they where.
I have a set of sticks on my desk and beat on my chair or whatever else is close for now.
I plan on getting another kit someday cause I have some ideas for a band I'd love to try out while I'm still young

I listen to this "easy listening" radio station here in Sydney, Australia called 2CH. Has heaps of hits from the sixties and seventies mainly like Ray Charles singing "Georgia", Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler"... that kind of stuff.

The older I get the more I like the calm, relaxing stuff.

I love Ting Ting's "Shut Up and Let Me Go" and it's been ringing in my head for the past few days and nights. And the vocalist is cute too! :p

Other notable tracks to listen to when busy formulating ideas and maintaining an upbeat vibe would include doses of electronica, mostly house music, electro, techno, breakbeat, and chillout for intense moments and analytical thought.

Sometimes a little bit of old skool rock can trigger doses of adrenalin like a little bit of the classics from Pink Floyd up to Guns N Roses. Ballads often remind you as far back as your last prom date.
