What Are Your New Year's Resolutions?

A lot of people take these with a grain of salt, but I like to think of them as getting a fresh start for a new year.

I'll go first >

1.) Build multiple relatively low-maintenance streams of income. I say low-maintenance instead of autopilot because it's never *truly* autopilot - but working a few hours a day to maintain what you have and get paid bucketloads more than the average worker is nothing to complain about. I've got several really great ideas mapped out and I can't wait to implement them all.

2.) Go back to school. I'd like to go back to school to strengthen one major skillset - writing. I completed full-length novels before I was 12 - I wouldn't publish any of them, but I basically proved to myself that I can write something start to finish, with plot and character development to boot. That's really my ultimate goal, make enough money so I can relax and do what I always wanted, which is fiction writing.

3.) Find my own place to live. Things haven't been right with my family for a really, really long time, and the strain finally broke at the most inopportune of times. I used to just stick a bandaid on and try to dance around people's way, but then, I decided no more bandaids, no more dancing, and even though I was hurting I had to move forward. I was particularly upset when a membership site launch I'd been planning fell through due to the events, but several months later, I've learned several new things that are actually 10x better than what I had before - and built relationships that I may have never had as a result. I'm optimistic about this one now, and plan to between my own 4 walls again in the next couple months or so.

4.) Reach my optimum health. Contrary to popular belief, I have no problem living off mostly fresh food - salads, fruits, sandwiches - with the occasional grilling chicken/fish or steaming vegetables. I also LOVE working out, or activities that don't even feel like working out - bellydancing, martial arts, swimming, and then for you gamers, Dance Dance Revolution (I once lost 15 pounds playing Dance Dance Revolution). 2010 is the year I not only reach this, but maintain at all times... I only get one body, I'm taking care of it!

That's basically it... all four are already underway.

What are YOUR resolutions for 2010?

My goal was to gain 15 lbs by the end of the year - and I made it. Got down to 105 and that's too skinny at 5'4".

        New years resolutions - none

        Absolutely none.

I'm old enough to know that at 12:01 am on Jan 1 I'm not going to magically change my ways, so I'm just going to celebrate the fact that I survived 2009 more or less intact. That was a trick in itself.

I figure 2010 has to be better even without any resolutions.

Awesome resolutions guys! work hard at it... Somehow i always prefer the term "goals" instead of "resolutions"... sounds more specific and action-driven to me. Anw here's my list of goals for 2010 too:

    1) Build up a five-figure monthly passive income using internet marketing and be able to buy the things i want and do the things i love. Enjoy the freedom and abundance of being wealthy in life.

    2) Master various communication and selling strategies as this is a really essential skill to learn in the business and marketing world.

    3) Read over 65 personal development/ self-improvement books that help me grow and stretch as an individual and massively improve my knowledge.

    4) Improve on my personal character- both my personal mindset and my external attitude to others

Together lets work to achieve our goals for 2010 guys. See you at the top! Have a happy new year
