Hey Warriors,

A friend of mine designed a quit smoking meter to track his results after quiting including money saved, cigs avoided etc. It has become a great motivating factor for him and well....millions of others as it has gone viral all over the net.

Thought I'd share it here with you other warriors who may want to quit, have just quit for new years, or know someone who could benefit from using it to inspire them to quit.

It free to use btw. Please pay it forward and share with someone you know and love to help them quit.

Cheers,
Zac

      Yes,

Josh, the creator of the quit free smoke meter is admin there.

That's where the meter got it's viral start.

It just so happens I've done business with the American Cancer Society with my families chemotherapy side effect products. I will be contact them and other Cancer related sites to introduce them to Josh's quit meter too.

It's helped me, so I want to pay it forward.

      Cheers,
      Zac

Hi Zack, I downloaded the barclub thing. I bought thetwittertank a few weeks ago. I wonder if it would work for marketing this bar club? Has anyone had success with it? It gets lots of followers but no bites.
      All the best,
      Kenneth

Zacman, Do you really think you can make $64,000 in a month with that powerbar thing? I downloaded it and now I have .25 cents. How many of those will it take to make $64 thou?

There's lots of those floating around and in a myriad of styles. About the only thing they generate is a hernia for the Tobacco and Pharmaceutical companies. They hate the e-cigs because they completely missed the boat. They are already losing Billions of Dollars and now they want the FDA to ban these things. No wonder.

I have several friends now using e-cigs - and these are people I neve thought would quit smoking. They swear by the e-cigs.

I did some research and again I'm amazed at how agencies can do things without all of the public realizing just how much crap is done.

It's been 40 years since the surgeon general issued the first warning about tobacco products. LAST year the FDA made tentative moves about regulating cigarettes.

e-cigs were first offered in 2003 - and the FDA (pressured by tobacco companies and pharma) is already trying to find a way to ban them.

              Amazing, just amazing.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

                Hello all,

This is my first post. I can't help not to say something about quitting smoking. I managed to completely quit cold turkey a little over 6 years ago. I remember using a meter tool but not this one. I think it was one of the popular ones at that time...SilkQuit.

My advice is use whatever tools that work for you, as long as you want to quit from the inside, you will quit. Just start right now, why not?

Actually, as of about a month ago, Philip Morris entered into talks with Runyan. Runyan is actually the original inventor of the ecig (one of their employees came up with it). There are hundreds of manufacturers of ecigs in china and Runyan doesnt have deep enough pockets to sue for patent infringement (they are the only ones that actually has a patent on the ecig)...but PM has that kind of money.

Everyone in e-cigs is holding their breath waiting to see the outcome of this because either PM is going to buy the rights and start producing ecigs themselves running out all the little guys...or they will buy the rights and bury them, or Runyan wont sell and PM will go full steam ahead with their actions to get ecigs banned through the FDA.

the FDA says that since there has been no testing on e-cigs, that everyone should keep smoking cigarettes, but the funny part is that the FDA HAS tested ever part of the e-cig (and the fluid) individually and had no issues with it at all. It wasnt until there was big money to be made that 'problems' suddenly popped up.

Those are the most likely outcomes of PM's energies if history is any indicator.

If you're going to place your bet on this one...go with the odds.

Cool, let me know when your up and running, I know someone that wants to try them.
Myself, I quit smoking after I was diagnosed with kidney failure.Unlike almost every other ex smoker that I have met, I have not had the urge or desire to start smoking again. (thank goodness).

      Ditto on that
One of my goals this year is to quit a 2 pack a day, 40 something year addiction, only one I haven't beaten
I'm thinking either the ecigs or laser treatments.
