If you could live anywhere.... Where would you want to live? And Why?

Lately I've been contemplating the PT lifestyle. PT = Perpetual Traveler.
Winter in the warmer climes, Bahamas or New Zealand or Thailand
or perhaps all three. Spring in Japan, following the cherry blossoms south
to north. Summer in Ireland or Scotland or elsewhere in northern Europe.

There is an awful lot of world to experience and I haven't experienced
enough. I love Canada, but 54 years is enough. I already live in the best
place that I know of, planet earth. Time to get familiar with more of it.

    Great question.

There's still so many countries I haven't yet visited. But right now, not considering money or employment, I'd have to choose either Costa Rica or Nicaragua.

I grew up near Vancouver, lived in Calgary, and now live in San Diego (which is pretty frickin' awesome), but I still have a dream of living in a non-English speaking country...somewhere that's beautiful and remote and relaxing.

    PS. @Lawrh - Go Flames!

You don't have to go all the way to Asia to eat... well, let's not be disgusting here... we all know what they eat over there... You can catch whatever it is you want to put on your plate near your home, fry it and enjoy eating it in the comfort of your own liging room...

Now answering the question: I'd love to live where the weather is a little warm, people love rock n roll (I'm a musician), the girls are mainly blonde and they speak English there...
Right now I'm at the wrong place...

      OR

Travel the world from my website's incoming money... That's the best!

I used to hate living in Singapore and always wanted to live in Australia. After living in Sydney for 2 years, I realised that the grass is not always greener on the other side and I decided to come back home.

Now I've decided to make Singapore my home base but to travel and live in all the cities I want for a few weeks each. Working hard on my online business to make sure this takes off

Having read some of the repliez here, I'm hearing that song: "I've been to paradis, but I've never been to me".

So.... as long as I live near the coast, with my dog at my side and my cat annoyin the hell out of me when I go to bed or crapping close-by me to show off when I go into my garden, I'm happy!

Hey ... my eyes are always roaming the hills around and searching the clouds...who needs anywhere else?

  • To anyone who's still 'California Dreamin':

Don't. It's all a lie. Its overcrowded, traffic is impossible, it's flooded with illegal aliens, cost of living is sky high, taxes are punishing, the entire state is flat-broke busted flat and billions of dollars in debt...

I spent a year in LA. Worst year of my life.

That said, I've got a fantasy of traveling the world and setting up camp in the Federated States of Micronesia.

Whoa! Such an interesting topic. If I could live any where, I would choose, to live in Pluto. , Because I am a loner person. I don't want to jive and mingle with others. I am very bashful to talk about my boring life. I am like an unhatched egg imprisoned in no where.
