The Final Nail In The Coffin With Twitter

Some big news on twitter. In proceeding to check Twitter Karma's website to do a bulk unfollow today on one of my twitter accounts, I was shocked to see that twitter no longer allows us to do bulk unfollows.

On January 15, 2010, Twitter instructed "bulk unfollow" & "bulk follow" systems capability has been determined to violate their automation rules & best practices.

If anyone can chime in to give any advice on the best & most efficient way to bulk unfollow people (especially on a big list)... since we are no longer allowed to do it with systems.

I saw the bulk unfollow was disabled, but it looked like the bulk follow was still up.

So, let me see if I understand this correctly.

Twitter says that bulk unfollows are a violation of their TOS. This has been the case for quite a while, but you're now aware of it. Having been made aware of it, your first move is to come here and ask how to violate that rule?

Bad plan, Stan. Not the place for it.
