I have someone that just dropped their laptop and cracked the screen. It's a older Dell model so I gather its not worth replacing the screen.

Does anyone know of any good deals currently. I'm talkin on the low end. Probably 500$ or less.

Thanks.

I think the Dell Mini 10V is hot for its price at $348? unless you need some POWER.
I think Wally's World had it for only $260+ for the holidays.
Check Craigslists and eBay for other deals
AND a way to make it even better is to "Hackintosh" it

I'd probably go with a dell for about $400-$500 - Their hardware is good and of course they look nice, so yer go with a dell.

For a feature rich machine that is loaded with everything except a big price tag, you might want to consider Toshiba.

Want to find a decent laptop? Go on Amazon and apply filters and sorting until you find what you want. Sort by price.
