As I used to say when opening my show in a new club,
"It's great to be here".
I'm really impressed with this forum, the members really do wish to help each other (especially newbies).
I'm reasonably proficient with a computer but this is new and rather baffling to me lot's of new words like CPA..CPL..CPT. Can someone kindly tell me what they mean before I need CPR?
Thank for your help,
WGRB

    What up Bill --

    There are many actions you can take, luckily you took the first...learning about internet marketing. Next you need to start soaking up the tons of useful knowledge in this forum. There is a lot, be prepared mentally to be overwhelmed and experience what we call information overload. Now be prepared to combat that when it comes.

    As a complete newbie, I would suggest a few things. I would start by perusing this forum for a few days. You wont understand most of what you read, the acronyms etc, so look them up and find the answers for yourself. This is the spunge stage where you try and just learn the basics.

    Next try and focus on a direction to take. Do you want to do CPA marketing..thats what I focus on but there are many paths to take? Do you want to make a blog, build a following and then worry about monetizing? Do you want to build sites?

    Then just focus your attention on that and make it work. Maybe buy a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) there are tons of good ones on that thread to help you naviagate. At the end of the day, everything can be found for free on this forum.

    Hit me up with any questions and welcome!

    CPT = Cost Per Transaction.

    Translation: affiliate commission.

    Honest people use CPT instead of commission when the payout is over 100% because it accounts for lifetime value of the customer.

    Dishonest people use CPT instead of commission when they want their payout to be compared to CPA offers, not other affiliate programs.
