How do I set my WP posts so a new post appears below the previous post?

There are two ways that I know of.

    1. Edit the publishing dates individually

    2. Make one of your posts sticky

If you have one post that you want to always appear on top, then you make that post 'stick' to the top. Then all new posts will appear under your sticky post.

To make a post sticky go to the Edit Post view, and in the Publish module over on the right click edit under "Visibility: Public". Then just tick the box for "Stick this post to the front page".

But if what you're asking is how you can make all new posts appear on the page backwards, in effect, I personally don't know of any way to do that unless maybe you're good at hacking WP.

    Hi

There are several plugins available - this one will sort by Date (which is probably what you need?) and also by Post Title WordPress › WP Post Sorting WordPress Plugins

Thanks for the reminder about the "sticky".
I'd done before but couldn't remember how.

Maybe there's an idea for a WP plug-in.

One that solves the post arrangement problem.

I should have known that there would be a plugin that could do what you wanted, since there seems to a plugin for just about anything any Wordpress user could want, lol.
