Old toy commercials: Anyone have this toy as a kid?

Somehow, I don't remember this toy as a kid. It must not have caught on for some reason. Pretty catchy song: "How did I ever get along with five?" haha

    Actually, Tim, I did have one when I was a kid.
    Honestly, I I don't think I would have ever remembered it without seeing that commercial.
    I could be wrong, but it seems to me that that came out around the Man From UNCLE craze.

    you have to go back a lot further that the 70s or 80s for this. I'm thinking probably mid 60s?

      Yeah, that had to be early to mid 60s. How about this one Kim? Gaylord the walking dog. It's amazing what amused us kids back then compared to what is around today for kids.

    I wonder if it would be banned on health and safety grounds if it was re released now . . .

    I mean it would hurt quite a bit if it got stuck up your nostril, or any other equally offensive place.
