Saw something incredible today...

I was watching a hockey game today and it was disorienting -- no fistfights broke out. Playing was all about strategy and teamwork vs. strategy/brute force/teamwork/brute fists. Took me a while to get used to it. Women's hockey really is a different animal in a lot of ways. Actually quite fun to watch.

It is a recently proven fact that ice hockey players are losing their desire to engage in brawls at a tremendous rate.

This affliction has been linked to the excess amount of cell phone microwaves relating to the increasing amount of texting being done by the sports spectators!

It is a little disconcerting. Research shows that plastics in our food (eg from heat plastic leaking from takeout containers containing hot food) and drinking water mimics the effects of estrogen -- female hormone -- and I wonder if that might have something to do with reduced aggression levels amongst hockey players?

(Or maybe the UFC is alleviating spectators appetite for fisticuffs?)

I'm thinking that it may also cause some kind of skin disease - like leprosy - in the players. Because I heard one of the announcers say that there was a face off behind the goal.
