New "Idol" Season - Booooooring

Simon C is leaving at the right time - or maybe one season too late.

What a boring show this year. It's like karaoke night at a low end bar and the attempts by judges and announcer to flog interest with long pauses and cute comments is just dead air.

    Sorry, I think it should have been off the air after season 1.
    The only talent that has come off that show is Carrie Underwood.

      I got tired of the show long before this season.

      Last one I watched was when Taylor Hicks won.

      Best Idols ever though were Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken (though he
      didn't win)

      Show really hasn't been the same since.

      That's my opinion anyway, for what it's worth.

    It seems to be tranforming more and more to a drama show and less of a talent show. Too many stories, I just like the talent portion.
