You know…

Sometimes we take ourselves and this forum a little
"too" seriously, so I started this thread to show off
what we use to do business.

I know when I first started, I thought the "gurus"
and big time money makers had these elaborate offices
and set-ups...and while some do, I learned many don't.

This thread is just for fun and to show others out there
what's possible and the incredible leverage we are lucky
to have in this modern age.

The rules are simple:

1. If you don’t have any pictures, describe what your
office looks like, and where it’s located (in home or outside)

2. If you DO have pictures…don't be a wuss, share
the love.

I don't care if it IS in your bathroom, that's awesome...lol.

I didn’t set this up to boast or brag or to see other’s
brag about their success, but I know it’ll be fun for us
to see what works for us and what tools we use to get
the job done.

A few pics of my office below, don't laugh...this little
office is like a personal ATM machine. I like simple, and
this is simple.












I do need to invest in a new chair...I just don't know which
one? Any recommendations is appreciated, cost isn't really
a factor (but I'm not spending more than 2 or 3k for one)

This is how we do it in Arizona - on the patio with the pool in sight. In the summer, I can take a quick dip when the heat gets to be too much. (Of course, photo airbrushed to include more blue and green than the camera picked up...actually more blue and green than really exist cuz that Frap doesn't look as appealing as it does in real life!)

Pros

• Great view
• Birds chirping
• Palm trees
• Great weather most of the year
• Very peaceful and inspirational
• Quick dip in the pool when the heat of summer gets to be too much

Cons

• Flies
• Moths attack my well-lit screen at night (big moths...I call them small bats)
• Dog keeps bringing me his bone
• When a microburst or dust storm hits, I have to grab my work and RUN
• Pool is sometimes TOO distracting
• Neighbor's grandkids are painfully loud when they play outside

For a minute there, I thought that was a cup of fresh squeezed

I didn't know Arizona had Palm Trees...I always thought of Cacti

Cons?! Are you kiddin' me? My sister lives in Georgia and she complains
about the weather being as "cold" as 60 degrees...here in michigan, It's
snowing for most of the year...you lucky punk.

By the way, what's your definition of heat getting to be "too much"?...

I litterly don't have any perception of what that's like here in Michigan
because we don't get enough,

But boy is that changing real soon...

LOL - "Lucky Punk" - now that's not something I'm called very often!

Too hot would be when it actually passes 115 degrees....I can handle up to that but 116+ and working outside gets a little more challenging. However, I'd take that any day over your cold. I can sympathize - originally from upstate NY and I spent a winter in Wisconsin where my eyelashes froze together - and am glad I don't have to deal with snow or humidity at all!

We'll try not to hog the sun this year cuz I know you guys in the East and Midwest could use a little about now.

I forgot that because your weather is dryer, you can handle more
heat.

When it's about 80-90 degree's in Michigan, it feels 10 to 20 degrees
higher because of the humidity.

12 full months of typing my fingers off - one full round of seasons outside. Full time, though, as of this very week, thanks to the info in this forum and some very helpful mentors on Squidoo.

It's hard to work in mess, and i clean up about once every other week
or so of old papers and other stuff.

Once I accidentally threw away a $100 bill that was shuffled in with alot of mess in a hurry to get to work.

Wow, those offices look awesome!

I'm in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. I've been working from my laptop so my office for now is the dining room or out on the back porch when it's warm enough (yep, it's too cold in FL right now, just like in GA, LOL!).

I suppose I could also work on the beach if I wanted since it's right around the corner. But I really don't want to get sand in my laptop, then have to buy a new one! Anyway, the beach to me is for having fun and relaxing!

Wish I had a pool out back for the summer though!

It's about 38 degrees here in MN today. We're running around in short sleeve shirts. "Too cold" might be relative.

And what is your definition of "too cold". 60 or 70 degrees?

down there...cold to me is 30 and below...trust me, when you
can think about going to the beach this time of the year, you
got it made.

I'll be down there soon enough with you, I think I had it with
Michigan weather. It get's old fast.

Yep, that's a little crazy.

Well, not really...we have what we call seasonal "relapses" just before
it get's really cold...people want to wear short sleeve anything so bad...

The single day out of winter that's a little warm, they break out their
summer clothes and wear them while they can before 1o ft of snow hit
the ground...awesome, lol.

Oh, I've heard there's a sixflags or theme park down there, have you
ever been because I have plans on going in a few months.
