Advice on laptop

Hi all, would someone please help me out here



I need a new laptop for my business. Unforta.ly - I dont know the standards, on working laptops these days.

A) What does a good standard laptop come with ?

DRAM, Harddisk capacity etc.

and

B) what are the best, talking Dell, Toshiba, HP, PB, - which to choose ?

    im just gonna tell you 3 things to look for when buying

    make sure the ram is a atleast 3 gb or higher

    make the os is vista or better still windows 7

    and make sure the battery lasts atleast 3-4 hours(unlike mine that only lasts 1 hrs)

    recommended brands

    compaq
    asus
    sony vaio
    apple
    toshiba
    samsung

    Hi,

    I have used systems for quite sometime now.

    If you are in need of a laptop, for the freedom it gives you then it's ok. If you don't need to travel you can consider a desktop - Long Life, Durability, Resale Value and Heavy Duty.

    With reference to laptops - HP I found it very unreliable!! Toshiba is one of the best I have used so far.

    With reference to config depends on your requirements.

    Good RAM Speed ( 1 GB - 2 GB or more) is ideal if you need it cope up with your pace.
