Tigers' comeback is going to be huge. Here's a quote from president of CBS Sean McManus... "I think the first tournament Tiger Woods plays again, wherever it is, will be the biggest media event other than the Obama inauguration in the past 10 or 15 years," Can't wait for the masters. |

Sounds like Tiger discovered an excellent way to get rid of an unwanted spouse while boosting his pocket. Is that what is called 'marketing'? |

You might not like what I say - but I believe it. Build it, make money, then build some more Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies! | |

I don't think it will be bigger than the Michael Jackson tribute film. Unless, through the magic of CGI, they show Tiger singing & dancing with Michael from the stage to the golf course. Putt It, Just Putt It... It's too high to get over (yeah, yeah), too low to get under (yeah, yeah), you can't use a wood here (yeah, yeah), gonna need a nine iron here (yeah, yeah)... Chris |

| I think spending more time repairing his marriage and less time on the green. Just a guess. I recall him and Federer are having a contest of their own. Who can win the most majors by the end of their respective careers. Federer took the lead last year at Wimbledon and is now at 16.

The most shocking thing with Tiger's comeback to golf would be if he wins the Masters. If he does that he would be beyond genius. -Nick |

It may be a media event - from a distance. As I understand it the tournament he will be playing is known to be very tough in controlling media access to the players. Smart choice. |

Yep, the most tightly controlled golf tournament on the planet. Smart choice indeed. He won't get heckled at that tournament but at some time he has to come out and face the music.

Trust me, when he comes back it will be huge. Remember, his story touches every single demograhic. Im going to generalize here but many women love gossip and Tigers been all over the tabloids...they will be watching. Men love sports and hes one of the largest sports stars ever...they will be watching. It will be the most watched golf event in history....i think |

I agree Kenster. The last few months have transcended Tiger Woods from the sports pages to the world news. It will be huge.

Tiger's return will definitely be huge, seeing as he's been off for so long.

Tiger needs to not only play, but he needs to do very well or the press will bury him.

It will be interesting to see how the press goes with him. He treated most of them badly before all of this so it will be interesting to see if they try to get a bit of there own back. Watch out if he misses the cut!
