So, today is my birthday. I woke up this morning thinking I was going to have a whole lot of missed calls and text in my phone from people saying happy birthday to me right? Well, wrong... The only people to tell me happy birthday today was my dad, my brother and sister, and my wife. Four out of all of the people I know, I was kind of surprised by it. Last year I had pretty close to 50 messages I had to clear out of my phone and even more coming through over the course of the day. Well, I am not going to lie, it kind of made me a little sad, Until I logged online. Whenever I logged into skype just a few minutes ago I had over 100 messages telling me happy birthday! Well, this got me to thinking about some things. I have been spending way to much time in my own little world that I have been neglecting the friends and people I know IRL. I just thought I would post this as a warning to all of my fellow Warriors, don't get caught up in the future so much and forget about what you have right now. Having friends online is great but just remember who your friends and family are offline as well, because the day may come when you do reach your goal and you try to go and hang out or talk and things could be awkward between you or whatever else for that matter. So don't forget who has been there for you in the past, chances are they may need you now.
Not exactly the best post as some have posted in this forum but I thought I should share this with everyone.
