Do you mean the games or are rides included? If it's the rides, I'm a bumper car guy myself. When I was a teenager, 3-4 of us would team up and target one unsuspecting driver. It was pretty funny, I'm LOL just thinking about it.

used to love those for the same reasons. I guess it was a chance to act out our road rage legitimately.

When I went to school a bunch of people have never even heard of a boardwalk. I am from Jersey so I was stunned. geographic thing i guess.

I actually like a nice ferris wheel. On a good warm night its a nice casual ride, good view. But I'm also all about a target shooting game too. I used to love the ones with a bb-gun that you had to shoot out a star on a piece of paper |

You are correct, to someone that grew up in the midwest like I did, the concept of a boardwalk was just plain weird. Michael, Its a fun game, but most of the time rigged so you couldn't win.

| All of them are rigged so you can't win. I had a childhood friend who's father was a carnie. We used to go out every summer to carnivals with games 99% of them are designed for you to lose.

ago I think. I don't know if all the tickets came from ski ball but a lot of them did. Some also came from the slot machines and some other stuff. These days, I'm lucky if I get to the boardwalk once a year.

By a long shot, my favorite is sitting on a bench watching the strange people wander by and making up back stories for them. Favorite food: funnel cakes Favorite ride: Ferris wheel Favorite game: Knock over the bottles. It wasn't a true boardwalk, but a bunch of us used to hit the midway at the state fair and several of the county fairs. One of the guys had a 90 mph fastball with good control. In fact, he was working his way up the minor leagues before he blew out his elbow and retired. The look on the carnie's face was priceless when our pal wound up and sent even the weighted bottles flying... |

I'm lucky enough to live a 5 minute walk from the boardwalk. Having never seen the like before moving here, I was captivated by skee ball and it is still my favorite arcade game. One of the arcades here also has an Ice Ball version which is pretty cool, too. I also play one called Pokereno, where you let the balls go down the ramp and you're trying to get the best poker hand. I'm pretty good at that one now. Other than the games, my favorite thing is the fried dough. One place down here, you can get a fried dough bigger than a paper plate all smothered in butter, powdered sugar and cinnamon - yum! I can't eat it all, unless I'm super starving so I usually split one with my roommate. Usually, I exchange tickets for stuff for Christmas presents (they have some nice stuff down here) but this year, I'm going to save all summer to get something big instead. Tina |
