Dangers of Astral Projection (Out-Of-Body-Experiences, OOBE)

I have read that astral projection is a relatively safe activity. Anyway, we astral project everyday when we are fast asleep. Simultaneously, I have also read that astral projection has its dangers, such as meeting demons and negative entities, for example. Which of these two views is true? What do you think about it?

    LOL this subject KEEPS on coming up SPECIFICALLY in this forum, WITH THIS EXACT title in mind.

    If you met a demon in your sleep, we would call that a nightmare. So who the heck cares? If you want to purposefully have nightmares, go right ahead, but honestly, it's a nightmare for me that this topic keeps on manifesting itself in the EXACT SAME form in this section of the forum...


    And guess what? I am awake, and having this nightmare, so forget sleeping and seeing demons! I am awake and am having issues here! LOL


    But then again, I am a nightmare for people too. Therefore it really doesn't matter, because there are worse nightmares when awake than when sleeping.
