Created a adult toy site dont now how to market it

Hi I created a adult toy website. I'm not to computer programing savey. my friend help me ALOT.. None the less Im not sure what my next step is. I know I need to market it just don't know how. Do I buy a backlink service or a pop up one....lost.:confused:

    Well since your first venture into IM is in the adult field, you're going to have more restrictions placed on you as far as site traffic generation strategies go. I'd comb this site for traffic generation strategies, and then try to determine if you'll be able to use any of those strategies, without going against the Terms and Conditions by linking or buying traffic to your site.

    You might wanna also check out other forums which go a little more on the dark side of IM for ideas, (google key words to find) and if you find a place like that, you probably don't want to share your website or real name, or even your real IP address, if you know what I mean...

    I know around here (tampa) if you go into any strip club, there is a magazine for the adult industry called 'night moves'. I would think that between publications like that, strip clubs, and maybe adult sites on the net, thats going to pretty much hit your target market.

    Depending on how deep in this you are, (are you a reseller that drop ships or do you physically have a garage full of stuff that vibrates and blows up), it might be a good idea to go to your local strip club, find a couple willing females, which shouldnt be too hard, and have them throw an 'adult party'. Give the girls a big stack of business cards, have the girls hand them out randomly, then put together a 'party' (with liberal use of margaritas) to show and sell toys..sort of like an adult tupperware party. Give the girls a percentage of the sales at the party, and their pick of the toys. Shouldn't cost you a lot and probably get a fair amount of toys..and more importantly, your name out there to those that are interested.

    Hey good for you. There is money to made from selling adult novelties online. Are you using an affiliate website? or is the site your own and you will be iether dropshipping or mailing the products your self? (Yeah I know what's up with the questions you want to know how to market a website in the adult industry. Well to be honest ...

    The marketing part is easy ... Once you know who you are targeting. This is IMO one of the biggest mistakes many people make in the online adult industry ... targeting.

    Just a suggestion... if you want to assure yourself some sales...goto Bridal gown places offer them something in trade... for letting them know about your online store. (make sure the domain is easy to spell and memorize. If you are an affiliate of a website create a specific campaign for that and maybe offer a percentage of your cut. say 5%

    Be careful in buying links in the adult industry... quite often it is junk traffic or simply scam
