when you have done everything you think you should have done but success is not showing up?

They said you need a coach - okay, you have got a coach.

The coach said you should do proper research and write quality articles - okay, you have done that and he even said that everything you did is fine.

In fact, you have done everything your coach asked you to do but success is yet to be seen.

Now, who do you blame?

Maybe stop looking to blame anyone and just keep on working? If it has been a long time (several months) without much success, then look to try something else.

Not every method will work for every person and even when it does, each person will vary in the degree of success with the method. That's why you see systems where three people say how wonderful it is and the fourth comes along and says it's junk.

It also doesn't hurt to maybe get a second opinion on your activities. If the mentor is saying you are doing everything right but you're not getting anywhere, it could be your mentor is wrong and just got lucky when the way he did it worked for him. Could happen.

I think some of the gurus are to blame "partly" because they can stretch the facts and also make things seems much easier than they are.

...... But at the end of the day nobody is to be blamed apart from the individual.

Fortunately we learn by our mistakes and failures and if you dont give up success will come your way and feel even better.

Exactly as Tina says. As you strive for success, you'll find many ways that just won't work for you. Keep moving forward to discover the things that DO work for you. Any time you blame anyone other than yourself, you're doomed for more failure.

Blame yourself. If you do, you can learn from it, move on and get closer to achieving the success you want. We are all responsible for our decisions.

Blaming others means you have lost focus.

Move from "who to blame" to "what to blame" mentality. In other words, if something is not working you should pin point what's broken.

First, make sure you have a decent number of articles to base your decisions on. If you have like 5 articles you can't conclude anything or earn decent money.

    Next, pin point the problem.
If on average you get less than (let's say) 0.3 views per article per day - that's usually a problem. Unless your visitors are targeted millionaires - this will not be enough, improve research skills. My rule of thumb is 1 view per article per day, on average. On average means some will get quite more, some less.

Now continue to analyze the click through rate, conversion rates.. Ask your guru what are the realistic number you can expect at each stage and this way you find out what exactly sucks in your case.

By doing more and more you also improve every stage of the process. Don't forget that.

Everyone above has given great advice - it's not a blame thing, it's step back and figure out what to change/how to adapt and get back to the hard work.

Doing things does not mean you will see things happen either, even though other people seem to think that "action reaps benefits", what they fail to understand is that NOT ALL action reaps the same benefits for everyone.

Doing what someone else did, may not even yield the same results for you, PERIOD. I talked about that elsewhere, how people expect others to do the same things they did, and they also expect that to work for everyone else too.

Your coach is sitting there thinking from his/her perspective, and therefore are giving you the details of the things which have worked for them. But, where they are going wrong, is they are NOT taking the time to understand you and how you work, and they are not taking the time to determine what will work for you SPECIFICALLY.

That is why their advice is not working. Because they are generalizing it so much. What they did...how long ago did they do it? When they did it, what else did they do?

Time could also be a factor, that because they have done this in the PAST, it has worked, and also has become an ADVANTAGE for your coach that they have done all of this already. I often see articles which are indexed from 2007-2008 in high positions on google, and NEW articles are NOT overtaking them.

Now that doesn't mean it can't be done, but there is a reason why those older articles are there. That work was done a long time ago, and was solidly put into place. Your cement is fresh and still needs time to dry, otherwise if you try walking on it, you may find that parts of it sink in where you stepped.

Your coach is also failing to understand this....and what he is portraying to be "quick dry cement" is really just the opposite.

    ---
As for you directly....THERE IS ALWAYS MORE WHICH CAN BE DONE. So while you are stating that you "think" you did everything which should be done, there are always more ways to "up" your game, and "up" the results.

You simply want results from the actions you have taken already, and don't actually want to have to take this any further, or perhaps you don't know how to take this further. You are expecting a high output outcome, and then it's no wonder why you are disappointed in the end.

It's not your mindset which is wrong, or what you did that is wrong as others are saying...but rather, it's simply the expectations you have set up. You expected this thing to work, you had expectations on others as well....and as my own mentor has told me: expect only of yourself.

This is because EVERY TIME you have expectations on something else, or anyone else, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LET DOWN.

So that is where you are personally damaging the outcome.

Playing the blame game or taking a guilt trip - gets you nowhere.

Adjust, adapt, try again....and keep doing that until you find what works.

The ideas you implement are to blame. People need to learn "testing". Testing means when you invest little time to see if something is working. Only after testing you can throw 300 hours of work or $ in to a method.
