It doesn't always change year by year. Try Panda Security antivirus.

Norton is a pig - the worst to use.

I was used NOD32, which did not work out well.

A friend who works for the police's e-fraud division recommended Kaspersky about 6 months ago - it's been awesome.

I think bitdefender will be a good choice to be the number one anti-virus for this 2010.

I use AVG the free version and I've never had a virus in years. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay for a crappy anti-virus program that will bog down your system.

I have always used Norton, so usedto it by now. Just recently I changed it to windows live care as it came with my computer. Not sure yet what to think. I think Norton is still the one.

        AV is =simple
        Ready to pay= Kaspersky
Want free? = Avira/comodo whit comodo you get a full IS setup thou firewall av defense + etc

As to why i say this Kaspersky has always been and always will be top one.
Avira has a great heuristic system and so does comodo.
But in the real world AV is kind of useless against anything New
But a good defense for thoose old and semi new plauge like viruses.

I like Kaspersky but it often suspects the files that should not be viruses. For example, I download some turnkey websites or software from a membership site and then Kaspersky says that those files are trojans. So I have to delete those files, just because "what if?"

Anyway, I still go for Kaspersky.
